Testimonials

Awesome experience! Bex and Laurel provided a fun, relaxed, supportive, and beautiful environment to escape from the busy world while offering meditation, HIIT classes, Yoga and more. After a long winter, it was the  perfect time of year to get back on track and ready for summer!

This was my first yoga retreat and I could not have asked for a better experience. I was traveling alone and I felt welcome and safe at Manchebo and within the group. Laurel was extremely accommodating and really made sure that everyone was taken care of. Bex’s meditations were beautiful and set the tone for our time together. All in all, this trip truly exceeded any expectations I had. I felt renewed on many levels and will definitely be looking into doing another retreat with you in the future.

Out of my comfort zone to some degree at the retreat, I was delighted by the fellowship and welcoming atmosphere.  I learned a lot, not only about yoga, but about myself and how I engage with the world.  There was a lovely balance between challenging spin and yoga classes and relaxing, calming yoga moments and down time. The food was spectacular; lodging was perfect. I look forward to my next adventure with Laurel.

My recent yoga retreat with Laurel Attansio was the highlight of my year so far. Not only did I learn some valuable nutrition tips, but also took the time to nourish myself. The food was incredible as well.

In such a quiet supportive way – the actual yoga was challenging and wonderfully fulfilling. We worked hard and played some. It was a tremendous way to meet other people and share a bit of yourself in a really positive way. I look forward to many more and am still relying on the benefits I gained.

The SUP Yoga retreat was great fun. It was an excellent mix of new balancing on a paddle board and daily sessions of power and restorative yoga in a beautiful location.

We would love to repeat the experience and recommend the retreat to anyone who wants to try a new challenge!

I have been on two retreats with Laurel and loved both of them. She is a knowledgeable yoga teacher  who keeps her students safe while making sure they get the most from their asana practice each day. She was a fantastic instructor on the Stand Up Paddle Board, giving excellent direction and even rescuing a runaway board! She has the true heart of a yogi. I had a great time in Tulum and in Aruba and look forward to traveling with her again.

I truly loved the location and the way the whole retreat unfolded. Each yoga class complimented the one before. The last one with all the stretching was amazing and seemed to round out all the yoga.

You are a wonderful teacher and I always enjoy all your incredible energy. I am blessed to be a part of your teaching and friendship.

I loved experiencing Ledges and Hawley from a new perspective. Very fascinating how something so familiar can seem so new and exciting when seen from someone else’s perspective.

Thanks so much. You are a gift.

My trip to Tulum was so amazing…especially b/c I never do anything like this for myself. My husband takes guys trips all the time & I never reward myself. It was such a relaxing experience!! The resort was beautiful, yet rustic. It was not crowded at all there. Food was awesome!! Authentic Mexican food…doesn’t get better than that! And Laurel & Megan were wonderful yoga mentors for us – 2 very different yoga styles, both left you feeling great! Energized, but relaxed at the same time. Refreshed. Just what we all need from time to time. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Hindsight is 20-20. I am so happy I decided to attend the yoga retreat in Tulum, Mexico organized and taught by Laurel Attanasio and Megan Ridge this past January. At first I was reluctant since I was going solo. But I met 23 like-minded yoginis who were so much fun to share the experience and I made several friends that will last a lifetime. In addition, the surroundings were beautiful! The Amansala Hotel was the perfect venue for our week of yoga with great food, a magnificent ocean, moonlight and millions of stars! Thank you Laurel and Megan for providing me with this lifelong memory! I’m looking forward to the next trip! Namaste

As a first time yoga student attending a yoga retreat, I was worried I would be intimidated during my first class.  Although I found several of the poses challenging, my anxiety quickly subsided as I realized Laurel was there to support and help me get into each pose to the best of my ability.  Every class was a great energizing workout and I felt like I was a much better “yogi” by the end!

Laurel’s Tulum, Mexico trip was my first yoga retreat and I was not sure what to expect.  However, I was immediately put to ease as her hands-on organization of it all was amazing. There was an option for every budget, every level of fitness, every level of adventure. It was an amazing learning experience the entire way; from receiving tips on what to pack, yoga and meditation instruction, nutrition, local travel advice, and meeting a lot of like-minded new people.  Practicing yoga in such a beautiful, natural setting really made the class much more spiritual for me. It was a reenergizing, relaxing, healthy, heart opening, and (most importantly) fun retreat!

People say not to work with your friends. Having the opportunity to work with my former bridesmaids was such a pleasure! Laurel’s teaching style complimented mine, so that no matter how the retreat participants were feeling, they had a class that was perfect for them to attend. Our collaboration skills have improved by working together, and I am very much looking forward to next year’s adventure to Tulum.
