How have you been? If you are in the US, how was your Thanksgiving? Well, ours was pretty epic. We ate pizza all day and went for an underground tour in Naples. Our first trip to Italy was 15 years ago and we spent Thanksgiving in Rome. So, it was pretty amazing to be back during this time period. We finished our journey in Rome bringing it all full circle. I am sure I will share more details of the complete adventure in the coming weeks. But, for now, let’s get to this week’s mantra.
Before we left, we went to see the Van Gogh Immersive Experience in Philadelphia. And, I quoted Van Gogh in my last mantra, but he has so many good ones that I wanted to share another.
What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything. – Vincent Van Gogh
This really resonated with me as a small business owner. I think about how different my life would be, if I had no courage to try things, to see things, to learn things… And, the last two years has challenged us all to be courageous in so many ways. At times, going to the grocery store took courage. Who would have ever thought?!? This week, let’s find ways to use our courage to attempt something new, something different, maybe even something a little scary. Then, let’s reflect on how it changes our day, our week and our lives. Let’s use our mantra to guide us.
I will have courage.
I will have courage.
I will have courage.
Have a fabulous week filled with strength and courage!
