Keep Moving.

Weekly Mantra
Ughhhh!!! As I sit here and write this, I am cold. Brrr!! It is the first morning where the fall frigid air has set in and I am trying my best not to curl up into a ball and hide from the day. Transitions and shifts are always hard for me and the seasons are no exception. The shorter days and the lower temperatures make me want to hide from the day. But, as much as I want to go snuggle with Zeek and stay under the warm and inviting covers, I know I need to keep moving. Stagnation never seems to help me with transitions. So, I will keep moving and I will adjust.
Everyday we are faced with transitions internal and external. Some are more challenging than others. Some we have more control over than others. But, no matter what it is, we need to keep ourselves moving. A few weeks ago, I suggested we honor the moments we want and need to be still, but this week let’s remind ourselves that we also need to keep moving. Get on your yoga mat; wear those leg warmers. Bundle up and get out for a walk. Take some time to breathe in the fresh autumn air.
